Tracts are an awesome way to be able to spread the Gospel. George Whitfield and Hudson Taylor were saved by the means of a Gospel tract. The fact that people get saved by the means of a Gospel tract should be enough to make us use them. Tracts can go places that we cannot go. Tracts cannot be argued with verbally. Tracts are well for those who are newborns in sharing the gospel; they can start off with handing out gospel tracts and go on from there. Tracts can make it into peoples' houses when we cannot. I suggest that you get some tracts that explain in depth the salvation messages. Ones that talk of sin, righteousness, judgement, heaven/hell, the cross and repentance. I recommend that you print off some of your own tracts with the layouts given at: Tracts 4 God; Very Sound Gospel Tracts When giving out tracts greet the person with a warm hello and say something like did you get one of these? Be creative in where you place tracts. Try to get in the habit of carrying Gospel tracts everywhere you go. If you are not giving them out you can leave them in places. Here is a list of some places you could leave Gospel tracts: -At the hairdressers -At pay phones -In shopping carts -In clothes pockets at stores -With a generous tip -With fast-food employees, cashiers and gas station workers -In restrooms -On ATM machines and bank counters -In elevators -On hotel dressers for the maid -On ice machines -On newspaper racks -In waiting rooms of doctors' offices and hospitals -On seats at airports, subways and bus stations -With flight attendants and cab drivers -In plane seat pockets -In cabs -In laundromats -In mail boxes(See if it is legal in your country) -In those free flyer boxes -Toliet paper dispensers -In diaper changing stations -At truckstops in the lounge -In the postage paid reply envelopes you get with Junk mail -Mail tracts to families that have just lost loved ones (look through your papers obituaries.) -You can also mail them to people convicted of DUI or other crimes -In open car windows -To people you see waiting in their cars at parking lots. -At libraries in books, magazines etc. -Folded up inside of 12 packs and cases of pop -Anything with an opening big enough to put some like air conditioner boxes, just look around at stores you will see where -Stick tracts on light fixtures in bathrooms behind mirrors.. -Go to an open house and leave tracts etc. -With tax returns -If you have a Garage sale, put into sack with stuff that they bought -Inside the Free Advert News Paper like Cars for Sale, and Community paper) -Inside Bibles at Christian Book stores -At grocery store in carts -At a Garden show, under pamplets that say (How to plant a Garden) -At Daycare in Diaper bags(inside Clean Diaper or Nappie), for the Caregivers to open and read -Drop off Places(bins) for Electric, Water, Gas or Phone bills -Inside Coke machine where coke comes out of (a pamplet inside, drop down when coke comes out) -Home Depot In the How to FIX something sheets -Walmart in Makeup depts, inside Shoes at Walmart Shoe Dept. -In the Free Coupon box at Gro. Store(staple Coupon to Pamplet) -mormon book stores -Christian Science libraries as well. -New Age bookstores. -Find lines anywhere and everywhere. Go to the front of the line and with authority in your voice make an announcement that everyone in line needs to take one and then pass it on to the rest of the people in line. "Make sure you only take one as there might not be enough for everyone." Hand the whole stack to the first person and they will set the tracts in motion to the next in line. It's great seeing non-believers pass out tracts to one another. -Stick them to the inside of restaurant menus. -Pin them to bulletin boards at dorm rooms. |
